Best Use of the Kanye Meme EVER

I know these jokes are on the verge of going stale, but this is by far the best use of Kanye West’s “Imma let you finish!” line EVER…

the uk has the best health care!

  • http://intensedebate.com/people/digitalnotion digitalnotion

lol awsome haha .. love it..

check out http://tinyurl.com/lgfnaq for some others.. pretty funny too

  • ToxDoc

And the reason why everyone else on the planet comes to the US for medical school training and treatment (if they can afford it) is …..uhhh…..oh – because the UK and Canada have the best health care?

    • John Willemse

Your argument does not support your statement. Having good medical schools says nothing about the level of health care. When no-one can afford the best medical personnel available, then what use is it?

  • http://www.blissable.com Blissable

"everyone else on the planet comes to the US for medical school training and treatment '

    ummm…they don't actually.

  • Vivienne

No one's saying that the US doesn't provide the best education for medical students or that your doctors lack skill when it comes the medical fields. We're saying that when it comes to providing affordable health care that is accessible to everyone- you guys suck.

  • John

Health care and Medical education are completely different.

Also USA doesn't put a salary cap on their doctors like Canada. So that might be one of the reasons why people move there to work.

  • Happy Canadian

I went to my doctor today in Canada, he ran a few blood tests, referred me to a specialist, answered all my questions, spent about 15 minutes with me without rushing to see the next patient, oh yeah, I haven't a clue what he charges cause I never see a bill. He didn't need to see my insurance either . Try that in the US

    • http://www.canadasucks.com Vern

Wow… you have missed the point of the argument entirely. Anyone can get a basic checkup… the problem for Canadians is when they've got a major medical issue… what do you have to say about that?

    • cherie haymes

I wish we could try it here in the US… maybe someday, eh?

  • Emma

People live longer in the UK and Canada than in the US. The maternal and infant mortality rates are lower as well. AND they spend less than we do on healthcare AND everyone can afford it.

    • Epiphani

Good, that means we’re closer to ending world hunger than you. /sarcasm

  • hanes

its about kanye's dumbass ruining taylor swift vma moment…………no one gets it lol

  • Kris

Thank you Vern, I was waiting for someone to say that. I wish I could find that video I seen a while back where some Canadians were talking about how the healthcare isn't all float in, get everyone taken care of without a worry like everyone likes to think it is.

  • Happy Canadian

Nearly 45,000 people die in the United States each year — one every 12 minutes — in large part because they lack health insurance and can not get good care, Harvard Medical School researchers found in an analysis released on Thursday Sept 17 2009.

  • bob

Wow your living in a box

  • Kris

Where's the link to this information?

  • dancing rabbit

Canada or England don't have the best single payer systems. That's why opponents usually cite them. Other European countries do better. Still, (I know this first hand) Canadians visiting this country go home if they get sick.
I also know first hand that you may have to wait months in this country if you need a procedure done. We have the best medical care if you are healthy and wealthy.

  • defur

It's because we have the best doctors , but we have one of the worst health care plans. People really don't come here for healthcare anymore, because it costs an arm and a leg. We spend more money then anyone , but we are one of the most unhealthy nations in the world!!

  • defur

Well have you ever heard of Japan? They have no waiting whatsoever. and there health care system is better then us!!! We can have universal health care and have no waiting whatsoever. It's just that the media and congress, mainly republicans keep trying to scare everyone away from it.. We can have the best in the world , but we won't .

  • Happy Canadian
  • Evan

Today I bought gasoline for 60 cents per liter. Try that in Canada.

    • http://twitter.com/EHarper @EHarper

      Wow. That was SO irrelevant…

  • jaycee

    Emma,
If you actually do a little research you can find the following truth in multiple places.

According to the way statistics are calculated in Canada, Germany, and Austria, a premature baby weighing <500g is not considered a living child.

But in the U.S., such very low birth weight babies are considered live births. The mortality rate of such babies — considered “unsalvageable” outside of the U.S. and therefore never alive — is extraordinarily high; up to 869 per 1,000 in the first month of life alone. This skews U.S. infant mortality statistics.

Some of the countries reporting infant mortality rates lower than the U.S. classify babies as “stillborn” if they survive less than 24 hours whether or not such babies breathe, move, or have a beating heart at birth.

Forty percent of all infant deaths occur in the first 24 hours of life.

In the United States, all infants who show signs of life at birth (take a breath, move voluntarily, have a heartbeat) are considered alive.

We also have the LAZIEST, most incompetent people living in this country. I wouldn't mind a national healthcare plan and even paying into it a third of what I make to get the benefits of wonderful health care if I knew that everyone worked as hard as I do to support themselves instead of having babies to get welfare checks that they can't even take care of.

If I'm ill, I walk into my doctors or the nearest hospital straight away and it's sorted. Free aswell. I live in London.

  • http://twitter.com/johnnysoup @johnnysoup

They come to the US for medical training because they want to make big money. Sure we have the best treatments in the US, but you have to pay a whole hell of a lot for it.

  • shtikittome

screw the whole gaddam bunch of you! if it weren't for the US, you'd all be saying "zeig heil!"

  • Cindy

It seems to me that someone who makes enough money to be able to afford to spend a full third of their total income on any one thing would know that welfare checks aren't hard to take care of at all. It's taking care of the babies they have a problem with.

  • ghetiimatii

america imports brilliant doctors. it does not produce them

  • smeldart

The US is the wealthiest country in the world and has the best health-care money can buy.
So the richer you are, the better off you are.
But the measure of a country, of a people, of a culture is not how well it treats richest, but how it treats the poorest.
The lack of socialized medicine and education in the US is just another example of how the US kicks the majority of its poor, sick and elderly to the curb.

  • anonymous

Im just happy that Ive never had to worry about medical bills! Im overall satisfied with the health care system in canada.. It could be better of course, and im sure other countries have right on healthcare too, but the U.S. has got it bad when it comes to healthcare. Right now people are protesting Obama's healthcare, and these are mainly people who pay their monthly healthcare bill, and are not in need. They dont want to give up the luxury they have, to pay more taxes, to give poorer people healthcare. Its another classic example of middle class resisting change, because they are already sitting pretty.

  • hhh

  • Bob

no one doubts that there is great technology in the US, What percentile get to use this great technology? I don't know the stats, but it must be very low. The rest of the world laughs at the US as you fight something that would help you. All of the top countries in the world with the highest standard of living for it's people have national health care.

  • It's funny

but well it's kind of unfair towards obama..shouldnt the blame be more towards all the previous presidents..
but indeed..canada is way better..but then again so is pretty much every country in western europe and even japan! ^^

Just because you don't pay at the doctor's office doesn't mean you aren't paying for it! You're paying for it out of taxes, and paying for more than you need or use most years! If I only go to the doctor's once, and it "costs" $100, but they may take thousands out of your paychecks over the course of a year, it cost me say, $3,000 to visit for a minor illness, if that's the only visit I made. Now, no, you don't write the check for $100 or $3,000, but you pay it whether you use it or not. THAT is socialized healthcare. I'd rather pay for what I use than pay for what I don't use, plus paying for the guy down the street who has many healthcare problems bc he eats horribly and is overweight.

P.S. shtikittome – it's "Sieg Heil" as in "hail victory."

LOL, I don't think the Kanye joke is ever gonna get old…

canadian healthcare don’t mean shit if it’s free because it’s still modern medicine and modern medicine is the number one cause of illness and disease…. canadians are just getting killed for free instead of paying for it.

recommended reading: kevin trudeau, call him what you will, but his “natural cures they don’t want you to know about” is one of the biggest blows to the elitists i have ever seen.

    thank you.

ToxDoc – the US may have more doctors & medical training, they might even be smarter than any other doctor anywhere in the world…but Canada's Health Care system is the BEST!!! If I broke my arm right now, it wouldn't cost me a penny, neither would Chemo, Physio or open heart surgery…this is what people mean when they say our health care is better – it's not the actual care given by doctors, but the fact that it is FREE!

lol. are you guys kidding? i would never, ever pay for a doctor or hospital. what kind of country charges its citizens for health care? next to taxes i mean. this pathetic. and to think this is some sort of advance over any free health care is just plain stupid.

Haha! Funny, except that Canada’s health care system is garbage. Anyone who takes a basic econ class learns this.

  • http://coloradospringsteam.com Cathrine Biez

The US Government is killin’ us. Why can’t the entire nation get that health care “reform” is going to raise taxes for us all and even create brand new ones for everybody?
