Alternate title- “How Dina Goldstein Has Prompted the First Daily Shite Douchebag Award”.
We recently began receiving emails from someone claiming to be Dina Goldstein, who created the Fallen Princesses series. At first we didn’t believe it was her, because of the nasty, threatening, and otherwise unprofessional nature of the messages, which were sent not only to my Daily Shite address, but through my personal blog as well. We have clearly laid-out policies on how copyright claims are to be handled, and even after being directed to them refused to go through the proper channels, instead choosing to continue her barrage of rude and threatening messages while failing to provide this simple bit of information. She wanted her pictures ‘TAKEN DOWN RIGHT NOW OR ELSE!!!’. While we respect the rights of content owners to protect the usage of their content where they see fit, being tactless and nasty is not the way to get things done. Clearly they failed to teach that part in photography class.
Because things are never boring around here, even down to issues like copyright notices, at one point trying to work with her on this, we were even accused of being the source of the pictures making their way around the internet, even though the pictures hit the web (and consequently literally hundreds of blogs) nearly a year ago, and we just posted them in early March.
While we do have some very talented people on the Daily Shite team, even we haven’t figured out time travel yet. That kind of accusation takes a special kind of imagination, and so because of that, we have been inspired to present Dina Goldstein, creator of the Fallen Princesses photo series with the first Daily Shite Douchebag Award for her achievements in vileness, tactlessness, lack of knowledge in DMCA’s, and convenient creativity which apparently allows us to bend time and space without even realizing it.

In responce to her request we are taking down the bulk of the images, however in accordance with Fair Use laws we are allowed to leave one of them up, so we have chosen Snow White as we feel it best represents..well, so much of what Dina Goldstein strives for.
Snow White

We sympathize with the prince, she could drive anyone to drink.
Of all the pictures in the original post, judging by the comments, this was by far the reader favorite-
The Little Mermaid

Thanks to Peggy for the contribution!
