How common is your birthday? According to this heatmap created by The Daily Viz and based on data from the New York Times, people just love to get it on in November and December.
While my birthday (October 2nd) isn’t the most common (September 16th), it’s still clear that I’m common as muck.
You notice there’s a baby boom about 9 months after the coldest nights of the year, and the winter holidays. Nothing brings together people like cold weather and commercialism.
Of course, if they got rid of cable TV – there would only be two colors needed.
By the way, mine is in that darkest strip in October.
