Rihanna’s latest video has come under attack by US pressure groups over her new music video Man Down with calls for the controversial promo to be banned.
In the shocking video the singer guns a man down in cold blood at a busy train station after he rapes her outside a club.
The video was shown for the first time on US network BET yesterday but pressure groups are now calling for it to be banned.
A Mothers Against Violence spokeswoman slammed Rihanna, saying: ‘Murder happens all around us. We need solutions, not songs influencing vulnerable individuals. Sadly, these kind of scenes are a reality for some.’
What are your thoughts? Should this be banned or is it just stuff we’ve been seeing in music videos and films for decades? Or is it a free speech issue that groups should stay out of?
